Dorothea Rutishauser

Dorothea Rutishauser obtained her MSc in biochemistry at ETH Zurich and joined the newly founded Functional Genomics Center Zurich (FGCZ) in 2002 to build up proteomic/mass spectrometry related workflows. In 2007 she obtained her PhD in molecular biology from the University Zurich working on mass spectrometric approached in neurodegeneration under the supervision of Prof. Adriano Aguzzi.

During a three year PostDoc she was responsible for the quantitative proteomics part in a FP7 project on obesity-induced type-2 diabetes as well as method development and management in smaller proteomics projects within the FGCZ.

In August 2010 she joined the Department of Medical Biochemistry at KI and manages the proteomics core facility (PK/KI) under the scientific lead of Prof. Roman Zubarev.
